36 volt Solenoid questions
'87 Club Car DS 36 volt won't run. New fully charged batterys with new cables, New F/R switch and all the wiring seems to be in good order. It was running at one time, so it's not like I rewired the thing and have something backwards. Tried the advise from forum members to raise the cart and jump the 2 large posts on the master, #1, driver's side solenoid. Key off, not even touching the accel. pedal and the thing takes off. Took the "buss bar strip" off connecting the 5 solenoids, and disconnected all the wires at the micro switches, and this still happens. I also checked for continuity between the large posts on the solenoids and found that the 5th one, passenger side, is showing continuity, none of the others are. I only heard 4 clicks from the micro switch box, found the 4th switch (blue wire) inop. Not in the best financial situation to replace a bunch of uneeded parts....any advise would be appreciated!

4th solenoid. Slider seems okay. What about the info on the 5th solenoid, and the fact that I tried the "experiment with all the micro switches disconnected....Thanks again! |
