Talked with scottyb about a controller upgrade, he did not have anything because to the throttle pedal mine has..

Serial starts 4QXXXX

Cart has a lift, camo body, motor is a 3.1hp club car

What was the problem with the pedal?
I'd take the motor of and have plumb quick rebuild it, this most people are happy with.

GOLD STD LYNX IQ for whatever that means.....

I think I'd listen to Scooterman and talk to Plum Quick for a Bandit rebuild of the stock motor; best bang for the buck I'm told....

This is what a Lynx looks like. It is a factory upgraded/lifted Club Car. Don (Lockman) has one, but his is the gas version, and instead of the rear cargo box, he added the back seat. Anyway, the "Gold Standard" part of it means that this specific car was re-manufactured by Club Car

No real problem
Has a slight hesitation when taking off

Was going to up grade the controller
But scottyb said the that style petal assembly would not work with a controller upgrade ..

What could I expect to see from a motor upgrade ?
The one in it says 3.2hp special service

I don't understand the issue with the pedals and the controller not being able to be upgraded, you should be able to do that regardless. Unless there is something I'm not aware of, he's the cart expert.
Still the motor upgrade and cables would be a big help for the money. Also if you do upgrade the cables I'd go with 2 gauge over the suggested 4 gauge, it is worth it.

Something about the petal signal to the controller I think, he just said he had no controller upgrade for it

Well you certainly need to find out about that If you decide to upgrade the controller. Having the right information is necessary even for the motor upgrade.
