Default Problem with "white powder" under 06 Precedent

I own a 2006 Club Car Precedent.

Noticing more and more that there is white powder underneath the golf cart when parked for a day or longer.

Is this coming from the batteries? Any idea on what it is or how it's happening?

If so, is it OK to take the hose to inside compartment where all of the batteries are stored?

Please help. Thanks.

it is most likely battery acid leaking out of the batteries from being over filled. either you could do a baking soda mix or get battery acid neutralizer from the auto parts store. I myself cover the f/r in my ds before I use the hose.

So I could just turn up the seat and spray in the hose in there? That would clean up the mess that must be leaking onto the floor in my garage, right?

Thank you for responses and video. My batteries don't look so bad to the point that the white stuff would get all the way to the bottom of my garage floor. I don't see any of this stuff inside the battery compartment.

I tried taking a look underneath but not sure what to do.

I had the same thing on the frame of the '07 Precedent I recently bought before tearing it down. The white powder was coming out from the back of the battery box screw holes onto the frame. It was so severe it completely ate through the 2-screws holding down the box. It must be a combination of acid and baking soda build up. I was able to clean up the aluminum frame pretty good. Not sure what else it could be.
