Slow going foward , faster in reverse
I really hate to join in to your fourms and jump right into help questions but I can't find the info I need. I have a 1993 Club Car 36 volt cart. When I first got it over a year ago it would run ok in foward but a lot slower in reverse. Fast foward a few battery cables and 3 new batteries it now goes slower in foward and quite a lot faster in reverse. I think the battery is dead but it is not really low when I plug the charger in. I know this kind of a vauge question but any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe

Re: Slow going foward , faster in reverse
Do you have a controller or a resistor cart? (In 93, CC made both)

Re: Slow going foward , faster in reverse
The resistor coils look like bed springs and are behind the batteries

Re: Slow going foward , faster in reverse
That's what this forum is for, asking questions, Welcome to BGW!
It sounds like your forward and reverse circuits are switched, reverse should be half voltage (18v) |

Re: Slow going foward , faster in reverse
I don't know how that would have happened. Any idea on how to change the wires back?

Re: Slow going foward , faster in reverse
I appreciate the diagram but it really looks like wireing for a space craft to me. LOL Witch one would have been turned around to make the voltage lower in foward ? I did change a few batteries but I really thought I wired it back correctly..

A photo of your battery area would help us see what you did.
