Default Slow going foward , faster in reverse

I really hate to join in to your fourms and jump right into help questions but I can't find the info I need. I have a 1993 Club Car 36 volt cart. When I first got it over a year ago it would run ok in foward but a lot slower in reverse. Fast foward a few battery cables and 3 new batteries it now goes slower in foward and quite a lot faster in reverse. I think the battery is dead but it is not really low when I plug the charger in. I know this kind of a vauge question but any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe

Do you have a controller or a resistor cart? (In 93, CC made both)

The resistor coils look like bed springs and are behind the batteries

That's what this forum is for, asking questions, Welcome to BGW!
It sounds like your forward and reverse circuits are switched, reverse should be half voltage (18v)

I don't know how that would have happened. Any idea on how to change the wires back?

I appreciate the diagram but it really looks like wireing for a space craft to me. LOL Witch one would have been turned around to make the voltage lower in foward ? I did change a few batteries but I really thought I wired it back correctly..

A photo of your battery area would help us see what you did.
