Default Light Kit Ideas

I would like to install some type of lighting on my Club Car Precedent IQ 48V (4-12V). I would like to have them just so neighborhood traffic can see me in low light situations and really don't need them for me to see the road as a cart driver because there are street lights. Whatever I go with will only be used for short periods of time in special situations.

I have seen the available kits and are not really impressed especially for the looks and price. $80-150 light kit + $115 for the 30 amp voltage reducer + $35 bucket harness.

I have looked into the under body light kit that can be directly connected to any 12V battery and think this would be enough light to do the job.

Does anyone have any ideas or experience with the underbody LED lights?

don't use underbody LEDs for being seen in low light conditions

(2) LED Light RED surface mount $10 ~ $20

2Pcs Universal Fog Aux 16 LED Light White $7

12V 35A Universal Car Fog Light Rocker Switch LED $3

wire and connectors $5 ~ $10

total = $25 ~ $35

Those look like they give off plenty of light. I have seen the various color options or the ultimate kit that can do all of them. For now I'm in the process of install fog lights on my cart. Just having wiring issues and may have to rerun all the wire to locate the problem.

Finally found what I was looking for on my front lights. With a few adjustments and some helpful advice from this forum they are in and looking good. Clean look tucked above the bumper. Thanks again for everybody's replies.

i have basically ordered the same setup as CTD except i opted for a 6 CREE LED 18watt light bar,

Will be mounting it the same spot between the front body and the bumper.

I used a running/fog light kit from Advance Auto. The were not the best quality but for $20 were more than sufficient. Note that I had to basically rewire the kit to make it work with the cart. Also, the lights I chose were the thinnest/shortest I could find at any of the major auto parts stores. I initially mounted mine further out on the bumper and decided to remount in between the front body and bumper where they barely fit for that clean and tucked-in look.

I just order the same 18w set off Amazon about an hour ago for my cart. I'm hoping that one up front will be enough light for cruising around the subdivision, which will allow me to mount the other in the rear on a separate switch for a back up light
