Club Car 48V battery change and wire reconnection question
Trying to replace batteries: I took a photo, of the battery config. then removed all the batteries. After replacing the new batteries, I am ready to re-wire. I am not super pleased with the quality of my photos, so I've downloaded diagrams...which make sense to me except for one item: no diagrams show any wires connecting to the spacer bracket. But according to the photos I took, there are wires attached to the driver side spacer bracket between the batteries. Photo attached. Does anyone have an explanation/recommendation? Thanks in advance!
Bracket with wires attached is at the bottom of this photo. Last edited by rebeccaro; 09-29-2014 at 10:33 AM.. Reason: provide more info |

Re: Club Car 48V battery change and wire reconnection question
Whoever connected those batteries last must have been drinking.... At least one of Those 2 wires should have been connected to the last battery, the one with no wires on one of the posts, check your wiring diagram and forget your old photos....

Hope that wasn't the reason you changed the batteries. Looks like the shop owner gave his kid a summer job.

No it wasn't the reason the batteries needed replacing. It was just time.

Re: Club Car 48V battery change and wire reconnection question
This the reason we get a lot of questions that start out.... "I just changed my batteries and now my cart won't run"
