Default Fog Machine for Halloween

Has anyone out there been able to run a fog machine on their cart? I tried and it just won't provide enough power to heat up the fogger.
I have a converter already installed and a 12V receptical that I plug a 150w inverter into. The cart runs my stereo, headlights and 4 different strings of halloween lights. It just won't provide the power needed. I also tried running the fogger on a stand alone battery. Even that won't give enough power. BTW, the fogger appears to be a 400watt machine. Do I just need a bigger inverter?

Thoughts/Suggestions?

Thanks

do you really think so?
150 watt inverter with a 400 watt load
think about it for a minute

and... before you add a bigger inverter
add up the loads of your headlights, stereo and string lites
then buy a converter to power all the above plus
before you burn up your cart

Ya, I know....... guess I just wanted some reasurance that I'm thinking the right way. Luckily, I have the packaging on the lights and should be able to find out how many watts they pull.

The converter is a 30 amp. So I'm thinking I'm OK there. My headlights and stereo run on there own fuse coming from the converter. So the lights and fog machine will come out of the 12V adapter plug.

So, the 64K question is..... The cart is a 48V. With two people and all of the above running, on flat ground at low speed, what are the chances the cart will make it for about 2 hours?

Think again as the 30 amp output on the 12 volt converter is only good for 360 watts....

while the fogger only pulls 3.3 amp on 110v
that bumps up to 33.3 amps on 12v
seeing as it is a heater it would be a constant draw
your cart might make it a block or 2 before needing to be towed home
