2004 Club Car DS - Is this a good cart? A good deal?
Hi! I have the opportunity to purchase the golf cart below but I have no idea if it's a good cart or a good deal - can you please help me decide?
2004 4-seater Club Car DS, Trojan batteries new as of Aug 2013, 48-volt, has lights, flip back seat, new black paint, new windshield, long top, brand new back seat, front seat good shape. Pic attached. Is there anything else I should ask the seller? Thank you for your help! |

PS here's a pic of the back - why do the bars in the back look wavy? Would I be able to attach a rain cover to this type of cart?

I would ask him how long he has had the cart. If he hasn't had it very long, then there might be something he doesn't like about it and he can pass that on to you if he decides. I would also ask him how often the cart was charged and how often the batteries were watered, if the answers aren't "every time I got done riding it, or nightly after riding it at least" and "every couple weeks" for watering the batteries then I would be more cautious as the batteries aren't being maintained properly.
The bars being wavy was the DS thing, that is normal, and yes you can get a rain cover for the DS model, check with one of the site sponsors, they should be able to hook you up. How much is he asking for the cart? |

And to show you how much price varies by location, that would be a $2200-$2500 cart around here.
