Default '05 CarryAll II Accessory Wiring?

Thanks to y'all, I have the cart working now. It turned out to be the solenoid, after chasing a lot of dead-ends (pun intended... previous owner had messed with a lot of wires before we got it - probably trying to make it work).

Even tho it's a CarryAll (6 brand-new 8-volt batteries), it has a full set of lights, horn, and brake-lites - more like a Villager/etc than the CarryAll wiring diagrams I've been able to find. (Not to mention the 36volt solar panel they had on there somehow).

So here's my question...
Where does the medium-size red wire (not the big fat motor-one) get connected to the battery-pack? I assume the lights/ etc are 12volts, so how do I get that with 8-volt batteries?

I did not find a 'voltage reducer' anywhere, but then am not exactly sure what one is. I did find an automotive-type relay wired in with the key-switch, but dunno what it was supposed to do. Also found the fuse block (it has 4 fuses, and is bolted to chassis under driver-butt) but it doesn't seem to do anything either, since its big wire isn't connected.

This is kinda like reverse-engineering... no wait, it's just like reverse-engineering... a total disaster.

It likely has a voltage reducer. Look for neg wires from the lights somewhere in those wires you will find one to a block like unit about 2x10x1 with a black wire coming out each end. One of those wires go to the neg battery post and the other should connect to the neg for the lights. You get the 12 volts from this thing. The pos for the lights would go to the 16 volt connection down from where the neg wire of the reducer. The reducer is found on the side rail of the frame or under it somewhere.

Maybe this will get you started on this.

OK, thanks, Mr-G. I'll keep looking around for it, but so far no joy.
