Do the bigger off-road tires wobble ?
I noticed today as I got up to a pretty decent speed that both of mine on the driver side had a very slight wobble, Couldn't really see the other side.
I have the 20" badlands on steel wheels and by the front and rear doing it, I guess it is safe to assume it isn't a bent axle. Hadn't noticed it until today. |

Re: Do the bigger off-road tires wobble ?
Spoke with a guy today at a shop and he said it could be the wheel bearings or lose lug nuts. When I get back home off of my work trip I'm gonna tighten up the lug nuts, if that doesn't work the shop where I got it is getting a call because she is still under warranty

It's not gonna be the bearings, IMHO.

Re: Do the bigger off-road tires wobble ?
It might be bent wheels, but more than likely it's poorly made imported tires. These tires aren't DOT regulated and were never intended to reach high speeds. They only need to be close to round and true, not absolutely round and true such as a road tire.

Re: Do the bigger off-road tires wobble ?
So I need to watch and see if the rims are wobbling also ?
Or is this a common thing and it is what it is ? Like I said, I just noticed it. |

Re: Do the bigger off-road tires wobble ?
Rims were new replacements for the stock one's and are only 3 weeks old.
I have to do something soon because of my warranty expiring, I'd rather them fix it than me fixing it . If it is a tire thing I don't know what I can do. I know nothing has been done since I got the cart to damage them ! |

Well, check the rims for runout anyway, only takes a few minutes.
