Burnt wires
Just bought a older ez go golf cart and noticed that the wire from the forward/reverse switch to solenoid was extremely hot and wire almost burned into. Is this a battery issue or something else?

Cables (Wires) and connections that have excessive resistance get hot. All 13 of the high current cables in your cart ought to be 4Ga or thicker and older cart often had 6Ga cables. |

Re: Burnt wires
You need good cables and clean connections to prevent excess heat and loss of performance.
