Default buying TXT 2013

Hi, i am new here.
I was offered a TXT 2013 (first cart for me), 15 months on the road and was wondering what should i look for before buying it.
It has a set of Trojan T8 batteries and the time counter has 418 on it.
does it mean it was "ON" for 418 hours ?

Thanks in adance

I don't know what a "time counter" is for an electric cart, but I don't think it is a 2013 cart. T8 means that the batteries are from 2008. In the right side glove box, on the left side of it, there should be a metal tag with the manufacture number and the serial number. The last two digits of the manufacture number will tell you the year of the cart

---------

Maybe you mistook a time counter for the digital battery gauge. 41.8 volts is close if not fully charged for a 36v cart

Thanks for the reply.
the serial is 3000957. When I put it in the ezgo serial check it brings 2013 txt standard
regarding the counter, ill have to take a 2nd look but it has 6x 8v batteries so it's not 36v

I found the answer regarding the counter.
It is the motor operating counter. (Looked it up at the ezgo shop website) Is 418 hours a lot? For a 15 months old vehicle ?
Manufacture number is 512623G01

That manufacture code says it is a 2001. Found this:

"In the mid-2000’s, E-Z-GO changed the format and location of their vehicle information. They no longer included the manufacturer’s code, and instead of a plate inside the passenger’s side dash compartment, they simply apply a sticker under the choke plate (on gas carts) or under the charger receptacle (electric carts)".

If the cart was really a 2013, it would not have the metal tag in the glove box and instead this sticker under the charger port

By the way, the 2013 (if it is truly one), was involved in a recall from this April. Serial number indicates it is in the group of affected units

----------
Also, the sticker should also be located here is it is a 2013:

"behind the seat by flipping up the black plactic access panel. There, you will notice a plastic tag glued on to the cross member of the frame"

It was in 2013 when EZGO stopped putting the metal tag in the glove box

Ok, it is a 2013. You gave me the model number, not the manufacture code. They did not put them on 2013 anymore. Anyway, the fact that it has 2008 batteries in it is what concerns me. Read THIS, information on the recall
