Re: 2006 36v ez go
Always place Run/Tow switch in Tow before connecting/disconnecting anything electrical.
Jack rear wheels off ground and place on jackstands, so half ton cart doesn't take off unexpectedly and run over someone or something. Measure battery pack voltage. Connect your DVM between the B- and A1 terminals on top of controller. Controls set for driving cart. Press pedal only far enough to make solenoid click. You should read FULL battery pack voltage. If not, find the missing voltage. If so, press pedal to floor. Voltage should drop to zero. If not, check the throttle input to controller. |

Re: 2006 36v ez go
Not getting full pack voltage between B- and A1 means there is excessive resistance in ojne or more of the four heavy cables highlighted in Blue and Red on the attached schematic and/or the five heavy cables connecting the six batteries in series.
Measure across each cable with a voltmeter when the pedal pushed just far enough for the solenoid to click. Measure between the studs the cables bolt onto rather than the ring terminal on the cable end. Anything more than a few Milli-Volts (0.001V) indicates a bad cable or connection. ----------- What was the pack voltage and the voltage between B- & A1? |

Re: 2006 36v ez go
pack voltage is 38.29 volts, B- AND A1 before pushing pedal it is 9.4 after selonoid clicks it is 1.9 ???? my wires on 10 pin connecter are different colors than the diagram!
