Question Marathon Lift Kit

I have a 1994 Marathon 36 volt Cart. I currently am trying to do a restoration on my cart by taking the old 4 inch Block style lift out and swap it with a newer, larger lift. I really don't want another block lift due to the fact that it just drops the axle down and you don't gain really any clearance under the front axle.

Ok, now this is my question/problem. I know EZGO changed some components half way through the year 1994, and i am not sure as to what it was. All i need to know is will this lift fit on my Golf Cart? My marathon model was made in the earlier part of the year, before the changes.

Here is a link to the lift, it is the 7 inch one.

Also, if this kit will not work, do you guys know where i could find one, other then the small 4inch economy lift. Thanks for all your help.

Take a look at your bolts on the front spring ,older models have 4 bolts on each spring and the newer ones have 3 bolts

You can use a drop axle for the TXT but you'll have to work the springs a bit. Walkntall did this on a late model Marathon. His was a gasser tho' but I think you can make it work. His write up is attached.

Good luck.
