what upgrades do I want/need
I am in the process of a trade with my cart. Going from a 4 seater to a 6 seater limo.
As of now it is stock factory EZ Go shuttle 06 model. How big of a motor / controller upgrade will I want? What if I lift it? I think I am going to get new batteries while I am at it. Anything to look for in particular? Thanks in advance |

Limos are pretty awesome looking with a lift kit. Does the limo have the e brake handle and shifter on the front seat? If so, to my knowledge there is no lift kit available right now. You'd have to do some welding in the rear to make a lift kit fit. Are you doing 8 6volt batteries?

Looks like you don't have it on the seat. You couldn't definitely lift the cart.
The 8 6 volt batteries will help you get longer run time. |

Re: what upgrades do I want/need
Selecting the right motor depends on how tall of tires you put on it, the terrain it is driven on, how much weight will be carried and how fast you want to go.
The controller more or less depends on the motor used, but in general terms, overkill is underrated. Lifting the cart is primarily for tire clearance and doesn't change the motor and controller requirements. Figure out the tires height, desired speed and other stuff, then give D&D a call and they'll help you figure out what motor to use. |

Thanks for the replies.
I am picking the cart up today and I should have some more details to add. Looking forward to doing another build, the last one was fun... |
