Re: Looking for help deciding on motor
You have a "Beast" of a cart, why not get "The Beast" replacement motor? I am about to do just that so I cant offer experience yet.
Actually I just started a thread looking for feedback on this very topic... |

Re: Looking for help deciding on motor
the guys at D&D said that they wouldnt be able to help be. The stock motor on my cart pushes it to 30MPH on flat pavement. I told them i would like to stay around that speed but have a little more torque, they said their motors would push it to around 23 and that i was about to blow up my motor running that fast.

Quote:
30 MPH with stock height tires (18") and stock gears (12.44:1) is 6,969 RPM. D&D Max RPM is ether 6k or 6.5K depending on who you talk to. What is your tire height and gear ratio? |

Re: Looking for help deciding on motor
yup. told them i was running 23" tires with a 400 amp alltrax and they said that i would have to run a 500amp as well that a 400 amp wouldn't be enough.
