Default Update - racing TXT

So I have managed to sort out the diff gearing dilemma.
This is how my TXT built has progressed so far:
On the new frame, I have fitted the HD rear springs, the rear axle and Jake's 6 inch lift kit. As I wanted to stiffen up the rear end considering the uncontrolled up and down movement, I fabricated two new plates from 1/2 Aluminium plate which I bolted (using suplied bolts from the 6" liftkit) underneath the axle. this way I could use the much longer shocks from a car parts supplier.
As I could not find any Lock nuts to fit the Grade 8 bolts (with a fine thread) I bought locally earlier here on Island, I had to disassemble the rear hubs and fit new Grade 8 bolts with a course thread and Lock Nuts.

New accelerator assembly fitted, Brake assembly fitted using a mix of new and old refurbished parts.

Front end:
Old refurbished axle fitted on new springs, 6" spindle liftkit. As I wanted a stiffer dampening there too, I manufactured a couple of raisers ( about 2 1/2 inch) from a square Aluminium profile, which I bolted to the spindles using the spindle bolts which I fitted upside down.
One new shock absorber on each side (EzGo part made by Monroe) on top of these.
I will try to source a pair of absorbers with Coilover springs to help stiffen (the vertical movement) of the front axle.
Also fitted disc brakes to the front.
Steering column fitted, most parts refurbished original.

Tonight I will de-rust the galvanized floor plate and see if I can repair it.

All through the built I have tried to reuse as much as I can, clean, de-rust, paint.
