EZGO Shuttle Parking Brake Handle - Change to Foot Pedal?

Hey All -

I recently bought a 2005 EZGO Shuttle 4 with the rear cargo bed. It is the one that has the shifter and E-Brake Handle on the front seat. Picture below. The foot brake pedal is just for stopping but cannot lock into place like most other golf carts (picture below). My question is, is there a way for me to change pedals in order to have my brake pedal lock into place so I will not have to use the E-brake handle?

My ultimate goal is to put a 1 piece front seat that goes across the entire seat like most carts. I would relocate the shifter to beside my feet on the vertical part of the front seat. My wife wants to be able to have our son sit right beside her (and I don't blame her).

Any idea if this can be done or has been done?

brake lock / line lock hydraulic brake, because you have hydraulic brakes, this would be the easiest way to do it. Here is a few switches electric or manual
