My 2004 EZ Go just stopped

Hoping for some advise or trouble shooting tips. Was riding around the neighborhood in my cart, on paved streets. I stopped at a SS, all was fine. When I hit the peddal to continue, the cart started to move and just stopped. No noise that I know of, batteries are charged. Any ideas on what to check or maybe what it could be? Can't really afford to take it somewhere, so want to try to fix it on my own. Any help would be apreciated!!

I understand the money part

1 check every battery individualy with gauge

2 check battery pack as a whole

3 check all cables- connections _NO corrosion is important

4 check power at solenoid

5 check power at controller

6 check power at Forward reverse unit

7 check water level is all batteries

There are smarter guys than me, will be here shortly

Rxv or not, that info will still be needed before we can do much.

If it is a 2004, it isn't a RXV, but it is either a series drive or a PDS.

If the F/R selector is a rocker switch next to the key, it is a PDS, other wise it's a series drive.

If the solenoid isn't clicking when the pedal is pushed, I'd check the Reed switch and the pedal switch.
