Default power guage

I have a 2010 48v txt . it has the gauge that tells ya how much charge is on the batteries. after giving it a full charge yesterday I too it out for a round of disc golf. When I started I had a full charge reading on gauge. After bout 20 minutes my gauge starting blinking from one bar of charge to two. It just alternates between one bar and two ,even after another full charge. I have still been playing a lot of golf on it and it seems to hold a charge and keep power just like it always has. anyone have any idea whats going on?

well; for starters.....those gauges are not that accurate.....not to mention they don't actually tell you anything. The best thing you could for yourself would be to replace it with a reliable digital gauge. One of our sponsors sells them (cartsunlimited.net). Here is a direct link to them on their page.

If you have a vtom check the pack voltage when the gage is between 1 and 2 bars.

I got the digital voltage gauge from ScottyB and it is right on with my digital voltage meter. I can see at a glance exactly what my pack voltage is. Well worth the money.

pack voltage is the total voltage of the batteries, fully charged a 36 v should read about 38.2v while charging it could go as high as 45v

Are these DVM's available for an RXV? I see ScottyB shows an oval plate but doesn't reference and RXV application. I have the stock analog meter and I would prefer an accurate digital without having to cut the dash.
