What is the year model of my golf cart

I have an ezgo txt with manufacture code L402 and serial # 1553586. I need to know the model year and if its a pds or dcs

Too new for DCS. Will be a PDS or Fleet (series). PDS will have rocker FNR on dash and Tow/Run on controller cover. Fleet won't.

Born on June 4, 2002.

The reverse thing keeps getting hot and the terminals are all corodded and messed up where is a good website to get one and what one do I need

PG, I don't see how you can tell the cart was made on June 4, 2002 from the above serial#. I'm not doubting you at all I just don't know how to read ezgo serials. Can you explain, for example, H499 1199861?

The code is the only one really needed for decoding. The serial number is just a production number.(see notes) H stands for February, 4 is the 4th, 99 is the year.

Feb 4th, 1999.
First Letter
A = July
B = August
C = September
D = October
E = November
F = December
G = January
H = February
I = March
J = April
K = May
L = June

1 or 2 numbers after the first letter = the numerical day of month the cart was born
Last set of numbers is the year.

NOTE TO READERS: 1970 to 1976 ezgos use the serial number to decode. 77 up uses above.
