Default Need some quick answers about an RXV

What would be the most you would pay for a 2009 RXV with charger that looks like new but has no batteries and possible bad controller?

I paid $4000 in January for a 2011 with lift, flip flop rear seat, 12" wheels, winshield, 2013 batts, charger, and programming.

There is very limited options for aftermarket controllers. I have read the older non-curtis controller is hard to get. So you have to buy a newer curtis with conversion harness(this is actually an upgrade and worth the extra $). Unless you find a used controller I'd expect $1000-1,200 +- install.

To answer your question - Assuming a basic stock cart $1500-2250 tops.

I know this will get asked...

What are the carts symptoms at the current moment? I don't know much but I'm sure the resident experts will be able to throw some diagnosis suggestions out there.

The cart was on craigslist 2009 RXV for parts, stated does not run or include batteries for $500. I called the man and he said he bought the cart and was told all it needed was batteries, he bought 4 new batteries and put in it and said it would only "creep" around, so I told him I would like to take a look. When I pulled up and seen it I was ready to give him $500 right then. Him and his brother which were both in their 60s or 70s showed me the cart. Then he tells me that he still has the 4 brand new batteries he is trying to get rid of for an additional $450. I told him I had $800 at home and could go get my trailer and come right back. He said sold and he was glad to get rid of the **** thing. Anyways he pulled the motor brake off it because he said that was the only was he could get it to move around. I don't know what is wrong with it, but i think i got the deal of the century no matter what.

Thats a deal! If it creeps, it seems to have a working controller. So, once we narrow it down, the repair ought to be $300 or less (instead of over $1k). Hook the batteries up, charge them, then test for yourself what the cart does, or doesnt do. Report back once you have charged & checked for yourself what it does.

I hooked everything up, batteries read 51.3 volts. Just like the seller said, the cart creeps in forward and reverse with grinding/scraping sound coming from the motor. When I push the cart it does not make any noise from the motor, only when the pedal is pressed and it is creeping.
