NEEDED: EZGO Body Rivets

Folks, I had ordered a set called the "BODY INSTALLATION FINISHING RIVET PKG" for my EZGO TXT to allow me to reassamble it after the frame off work I have recently been performing.

This item was ordered over three weeks ago, has not shipped, and I would like to seek alternatives.

Can anyone advise me of what quantities and sizes of rivets are needed to reinstall the body & floor for a 2000 EZGO? Also perhaps where I could purchase them in Houston?

Aimless: i am really confused. you indicate the part has arrived, but then you are saying it is still on the truck? it is a fairly small item, but i need it badly.

Try Mikesmotorandtoys. He is an E-Z-Go dealer and can probably get the factory kit.

Not to hi-jack a thread, but Eric I got my Diamond Plate today and will get it on the cart in the morning !

Now back to the regular scheduled programming (thread)

Eric, thanks for the offer, I will definately consider contacting you for a future order.

My cart is ready for assembly now, this weekend, as I have all the major parts in hand - except the rivets.

Would like to find a local place that stocks the sizes needed for the EZGO so I can proceed with the project.

The only place you are going to find them locally is an E-Z-Go dealer. The rivets are NOT available at any hardware store or home center. There are at least 10 different sizes and styles required to do the job correctly, and a few of them are so large that a normal rivet gun will not handle them because of the shaft diameter. Been there, done that.

Ok, some new info there, when I placed the order I was told a standard rivet gun would handle the job and that I could get one at just about any parts house.

So, what are the specs and where can I get a rivet gun to handle finishing this job?
