Default Changed controller on 09 rxv and nothing happens

I recently changed the controller,...
I recently changed the controller, solenoid, and key switch on my 2009 rxv golf cart. Reason being controller smelled burnt along with motor brake. After changing all of these things I still get nothing. I don't even get the back up buzzer. I get a small click from buzzer when I turn key and that's it. I load tested batteries and it was good. Need some answers

I don't know where to start with this one.

1) What was original problem?

2) Why did you suspect controller was bad?

3) Did you ever check cart using handheld diagnostic tool?

Thats a lot of money to throw at a "smelled funny" problem. Somethin' else funny goin' on here. I think we need alot more back-story of where this cart came from (golf course rebuild, or original owner), has the cart ever ran since you got it, what the original problem was, who else worked on it (and what they did), battery age and health info (current pack voltage would be a good start).

a week before cart gave up on me my wife said it had been dying a lot lately, but before wasn't doing that. I was actually getting a good amount of time on cart each time I rode it. My daughter was riding one night and called me and said she smelt something burning. I got to the cart and I drove it home. Cart would start off good and slow down and creep like it wanted to die. I noticed while I was driving it home as soon as I would let off gas brakes would catch instantly. Didn't feel normal. I put it on charger and next day the cart would not move at all. I got someone over to look at it. He took motor brake off, and it had same burning smell as night before. He took controller cover off and smell was even worse. So changed comtroller. Nothing happens. Next I changed solenoid. Nothing happened. Next I changed key switch. NOTHING! I checked voltage on batteries and they all range from 12.75-12.86.

Maybe you can return the controller and get the motor brake that caused the original problem? You can put 5 controllers in there, until you have a good motor brake on there it wont work right.

Absolutely will cause it not to run. Its one of the first things tested in the "start-up checklist".
