Default Powerwise Plus Charger

Ok I got a Powerwise + charger with the light on the front panel. To get it to work I have to jump across the relay on the input board.

The lights on the front panel aren't working either. So could it be that the control board is bad not letting the input board do its work? Or is it definitely the input board. There is no one board replacement for this charger.

I can justify buying the input board but not both boards. This is an old charger not worth putting $200 - $250 into.

Thanks for your help...

Your charger might not be sensing the pack voltage, If so, the existing boards might be good.

Do not plug into AC power, but plug into cart.
Check voltage on the black and red wires at the control board. (Red wire connects to heat sink and black with connect to a wire that goes to the output cable.)
You should measure the pack voltage, whatever it is.

If not, fix the battery sense circuit.
If so, the control board is bad.

There is a single board replacement for the two board set-up, but the LEDs will no longer function. The part number is in the attached brochure.

Ok I'm getting the pack voltage on the red and black wires. So it looks like if I buy 28667go1 or an aftermarket I can get this working right.

Also thanks for that attachment will put it in my files.

Meter your fuse and diodes, easier to order them all together if needed.
