Dpi power EZGO 36v charger problems
Hi all,
When I try to charge my cart, the charger sees the batteries then does it test at 5 amps then goes to charge mode up to 15 amps for about 1 minute then drops to nothing and come up with a fault code "battery imbalance". I borrowed a friends charger(different brand) and it charge ok. I charged it to 80% then plugged mine back in and it charged to full. Went for a round then tried charging when I got back and started having the same fault. I've played 3 rounds and tested all batteries. 6.002, 6.025, 6.005, 5.982, 5.999, 6.001. There doesn't seem to much difference between then but I'm no expert. So could be board, but didn't see any corrosion or burn marks. Thanks |

Re: Dpi power EZGO 36v charger problems
It could be a faulty control board. They are easily changed out in the charger. Call DPI - the number is in your manual and ask for tech support. If they think it's a control board they will mail you one.
