No Go in reverse..
Hey everyone, I just installed a Curtis Series controller in a 1997 EzGo 36 volt recently removed from a 2007 EzGo Series 36 volt. Problem is, I have forward but not reverse. The removed controller from the 1997 was cross referenced from an older EzGo. Do I have a wire misplaced somewhere or what? Thanks..

Re: No Go in reverse..
Series cart does FnR switching with a rotary switch. Does the solenoid click?

Re: No Go in reverse..
And yes. Forward reverse is on a rotary switch. And solenoid clicks both forward and reverse..

Re: No Go in reverse..
In a series cart the direction is controlled by the rotary switch. If it works in forward chances are the controller is Okay. Try wiggling the FnR switch with the pedal slightly depress and solenoid engaged. If it moves you have an issue with your contacts on the rotary button or plate. A quarter turn on the big nut may fix that..

Re: No Go in reverse..
Did it ever work right? Check the FNR to make sure the cam turns all the way to the stop. The FNR is bolted to the frame through slotted holes, so it can be adjusted if needed.
