Default TXT Front springs

My 07 txt had no travel in the shocks, so I removed them and the ride is great if I go slow. When I hit even small bumps, the tires rub the fender. 6 inch jakes lift and 26 inch tires. I need some stronger springs and different shocks to dampen the ride. Where would be the best place to start looking? Most of the miles put on this cart is up and down hills in the woods. Thanks...

Goodby nice soft ride if you go with car shocks like the Monroe's. Those are valved for a 3600 lbs car, not a 1000 lb golf cart.

Your ezgo shocks are correctly called dampers, not shocks. These operate somewhat differently from shocks. Were your stock shocks just locked up? Is that what you mean by "no travel"?

Thanks for your reply. When I had the shocks on the front, I only had a few inches of travel and the shocks would bottom out. I think some heavy duty springs and new shocks would help me. Having no shocks on the front gives me a lot of travel and a good ride if I am just creeping around in the woods, but bumps are eating up my fenders. Who has the best springs?
