Trojan T605 and Battery Questions
I am considering getting some new batteries for my cart. A family member needs some for their cart and I am thinking about giving them mine.
I have 2 year old interstates now in my EZGO, they do okay, but my cart has a Freedom chip and a 6 inch lift with 23 inch tires. That along with the back seat and brush guard, extended top, ect. It is a heavy cart. Are the T605 batteries too small for a heavy lifted cart like mine? I found a good deal on a set ($550 out the door) with exchange. This is not much more money than a set of Sams batteries so that is why I am curious. My interstates test pretty good overall, it is just hard to judge how long they are lasting because I have some pretty long steep hills in my development. Thanks beforehand for any advice! |

Re: Trojan T605 and Battery Questions
Do they have a set of old battery to give you in return? Otherwise your cost is going to go up likely as much as 25.00 or more per battery as most prices are quoted with you turning in your old batteries....

Quote:
The main difference between the T-605 and your existing batteries is run-time. Performance will be roughly the same. |

Re: Trojan T605 and Battery Questions
I am happy with the performance, run time is what I was asking about with these T605's

Re: Trojan T605 and Battery Questions
Interstate has about five grades of 6V cart batteries, so a T-605 could be better or worse.
Here is a chart showing relative run-times based on AH capacities of some various 6V batteries. |

Re: Trojan T605 and Battery Questions
Thanks for the info! I will see what I can find out about my current batteries. So it looks like the T605 batteries are below standard according to that chart?

Re: Trojan T605 and Battery Questions
I think I am going to the T605's. $550 out the door is just hard to beat with Trojans. That is about the same price as sams club batteries.

Re: Trojan T605 and Battery Questions
$750 is probably for Trojan 105's, this same guy told me 500 for US battery as well.
