Default 2009 RXV motor brake

I came across a rxv motor brake that had a release handle on the side.
It seems that this might be a better deal if the RXV locked up for some reason.

Has any one else come upon this ?
Thanks Bill

The part in question is the first design and is known to be very unreliable, as well as unavailable.

Brake is from 2008 or early 2009. Part prone to failure. "Lever abuse" ,using too much force or pulling lever in wrong direction causes instant failure.

Run -- don't walk away from this "deal"

Can't beat free,

Use it till it quits!

RXV's don't "kock up" very often.

I seem to have a brake problem forward and reverse works fine until I use the brake then wont go in either one until I depress the brake and here the click sound. It works fine after that until I depress the brake pedal again and then have to repeat the process of depressing the brake pedal till it clicks. Open for suggestions
Thanks Bill
