Default Alltrax DCX 400 Controller

ok guys. We just returned from the beach for 7 days and cart run fine the whole time. Got ready to take cart off the trailer and the cart would not move in reverse, but runs fine in forward. I checked all the micro switches and they looked fine and the buzzer also sounds in reverse. I took the controller out and redone the setting with the software and still nothing. I noticed when switched to reverse I hear the controller click but it has no light red or green. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Go to the stickies at the top of page and open the pdf trouble shooting guides. The 7 step color one is easy to use. Or go here > http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...eshooting.html If the batteries have ever run low the OEM control could be fried.

Thanks Scotty, I will check it out, I just put Brand new Crown 235 s in before we went to the beach.
I don't know if the rough ride on the trailer is causing something to jar loose are what. Last year the same thing happened but the cart would not move in either direction and I reprogrammed the controller and then it worked fine. Not the case this time.

Are you getting a green light on the control? Any flashing red codes?
Does the solenoid click when you try to go?

The problem is in the solenoid activation circuit. There is no power to the solenoid or controller control board. Follow the diagram to see where it is interrupted.

It's because you live in Aiken.. We have electrical problems here.. Don't remember the microswitch setup but I would check to make sure both are closed when you flip it to reverse. It is strange that you do get the reverse buzzer because that would imply they did close..

Sounds like a mechanical problem.

The contacts in the "Run" switch on the F/R assembly are not being closed when the lever is in the R position.
The switch itself is probably good, since the cart runs in F.

That means the cam is not activating the Run switch in the R position for some reason or other.
Maybe the Run switch is maladjusted or the the cam isn't rotating fully into the R position.
