I took a little time to Google this and figured it wouldn't take all that long. But to my surprise..... it seems harder than it should be. I know in my TXT cart to empty it my B-I-L, who does all of the heavy work on my cart, just wrenched off the lower pan and let the oil run into a big pan he has. Then he used a silicon sealer on it when he bolted the pan back on....then removed the fill\check oil bolt and dumped on oil until it ran back out.

Now, I did find one EZ-GO on line manual here: http://www.ezgo.com/Portals/8/EZGO/P...250_lowres.pdf and if you go to page 5-19 this model shows a "lower" drain plug and an "upper" fill plug. As you can see from the picture in the manual a funnel must be used to refill the differential with oil.

I don't know if this will help you or not, but perhaps it will lead you in the right direction.

Just did this on my 99 TXT. It had a drip also. Pulled pan and dumped oil. Cleaned old sealant residue off of the pan and differential. Placed gasket sealant on the pan and replaced it. I let it set overnight to cure before adding oil. Pulled the side plug and filled with 30w as per manufacturer specs. Replaced plug and no leak. Good Luck
