Default Light Bar - Upgrade?

Are there brighter bulbs for this thing? The stock bulbs are 37.5 watts - I would love to find 50's or 75's.....

I have found 50+ watt lamps that work at Wally World or any auto parts outlet. I simply took a bulb with me and visually matched them up, so I have no bulb numbers for you. They improved the light output, but the beam pattern still sucks. I like my driving lights better.

It looks like the bulbs are integral with the "pluggy thingy" that goes into the backside.... I didn't realize that they were an automotive bulb....

Short answer here is "yes." They are a standard automotive bulb that comes in 25, 37, 50, 55, and 70 watt ranges.

I got the 50 watt Xenon bulbs for it.

Not as bad as you might think... but no. Not cheap by any means.

Only the best.....

Customer: How bright are the headlights?
Me: Enough that EZ GO deemed them appropriate for use.
Cust: Are they as bright as (Another customers)?
Me: They're probably close. These are 37 watts.
Cust: How many are (other customers name)?
Me: 50's.
Cust: His are better... mine have to be at least that bright.

What I would like to say right now....

Anyone here know the Jonse's? I'm trying to keep up with them.

I know a guy that tried putting some high output bulbs in his E-Z-GO light bar. Said guy, ended having to replace that melted E-Z-GO light bar with a new one !! That guy learned a lesson that bigger isn't always better.

That's why I stopped at 50 watts.

Sure does.............pretty close by too!
You only do that once. I think I still have that, I mean, I think that guy still has that lens in the shop somewhere and I am sure a photograph is in order. dang near cooked a hole in it.

We were cruising at the beach and after about 1 45 minutes or so I smelled the dreaded "kiss of death" plastic burn odor. I thought I had burned up a power cable. When I stopped, smoke came from the front of the cart. All I could do is shae my head.
