Rear End
Well, my son went riding the other day and this happened. Brand new axile too! I guess the metal ant what it use to be.
I need a good Ezgo factory axile to make it work and not a cheap aftermarket one like this. I can't beleive it broke into like this. |

Re: Rear End
OH CRAP! Dang Andy, looks like china struck again. If anything the one axle should have snapped instead of twisting. Where did you get the axle?

Re: Rear End
Man, that's is one crappy axle, OR a major defect in manufacturing, but I'm going with crappy axle. OK, gut check time: where did you buy it?

Re: Rear End
I bought it at the beach from Grahams Golf carts. Going to call them Monday and see if they will replace it. I think it's just cheap metal.
May even be a flaw in it also by the way it has a clean break. |

Re: Rear End
Anyone wonder why we only sell OEM? I guarantee that's a china copy...

Re: Rear End
I was looking at the first picture...where it make the transition from spline to the thicker part of the axle...it looks almost like a casting. I can't see machining marks like the stockers I have. Almost looks like a piece of hot rolled 1018 round rod.
Anyways...live and learn. |
