What year is this thing?
[IMG][/IMG]Ok I just bought a ezgo electric cart from a security company. They crashed it into a wall and bent front axle. Other than the front end damage it looks good. So I gave $300 for it they claim[/IMG] its a 2006 I'm not so sure. There is no tag in the glove box but there is a serial number on the body 2418518. Also it does not have the forward reverse handle by your knee but a switch on the dash.

Re: What year is this thing?
Look under the battery flap on the frame rail. If that serial is right it is a 2006 PDS. Shop.ezgo.com has a serial number lookup. If you just want to fix it finding a used front axle should be easy. If you have a local cart shop that lifts carts they probably have some lying around..

Thanks I just found the look up it is a 2006 pds. I also already have a axle lying around from another ezgo I lifted in the past I'm going to use. score!

Re: What year is this thing?
I bet they hit something else because the nose looks okay. I fixed my buddies a while back after his buddy hit a culvert in a ditch. Wasn't pretty.

Re: What year is this thing?
A few different axle styles were used, better take a close look to see, they dont interchange without buying a bunch of other steering parts.

Re: What year is this thing?
Fair enough. I just was talking about my local guy. I know he usually has a complete front axle or two left over from a lift laying around. Hubs, spindles, tie rod and the axle itself. But cg is correct, check it out first.

The angle of the steering wheel doesn't look right.

Re: What year is this thing?
Good catch. Probably from when someone hit it when it hit whatever it was they hit. May just be a bent steering tube.
