99ezgo txt standard,no F&R

My 1999 ezgo txt standard had no F&R and it sat for 10 years.im sure theres more wrong now.i will need elect wire diagrahm.and how the elec works to trouble shoot.where to begin.thanks

Were it mine, I would test the motor first. You only need your car's 12 volt battery and a couple jumper cables to do that.
Don't take the motor out, just lift the rear wheels onto some jackstands.

Try not to spend so much time making your connection. No sense shorting out a potentially good motor. Not sure what the guy in the clip was trying to do.

Thanks cloe and scottyb.i did the motor test.it worked.it has controller with solonoid attached.solonoid has fuse.scottyb i couldnt read the wire diagram.how does the electric travel.i need batteries ,since they were stolen .if i can get this cart running .i would be grateful and wife off my back..oh its a series&

Highlighted in red and blue is the solenoid activation circuit. This is the low amperage side of the system. When the solenoid clicks closed the high amperage is switched on and the controller can begin allowing the motor to access the battery pack in amounts regulated by the foot pedal signal. That my friend, is how it works.

Thankyou all.i just got my club cart running.now this is my next project.once i get batteties the last thing i remember is it just didnt go in f&ri.i know moter works.i guess i wiil check why it wont go in f&r.whats the reason why it wont go in f&r.thank you .
