Default RXV Exceed Oppertunity

I have the opportunity to pick up a new left over EZGO RXV Exceed Hybrid that is already approved and street legal for 6500. The dealer says they did not sell well and that is why the price drop. I have looked online and here and cannot find much from those who actually OWN one and their comments and reviews. OWNERS or those that actually know please let me know your thoughts. The RXV is an 48v AC cart and with two big guys on it we easily got to 22 mph before the road ran out. So it seemed pretty fast but I am going to go back when it is not raining to see if I can get 23-25 out of it. The generator was not quiet when It was running but about the same as the gas cart at speed. You can just turn it off when you want and you are quiet again. My concerns are the generator overheating as the well area is tight and it not operating as described and their isn’t much independent information out there.

Thanks,

Its kinda a hack job. Not easy to work on, unrefined (loud), not terribly efficient (charges very slowly, less than 7a). The nicest feature is the 110v inverter.. It does work as a "range extender" and "charger" when not driving, but its not spectacular. We had one as well, took the kit off, as it didnt sell. When i saw what it was really like, i was shocked they didnt use a more efficient, and quieter generator. If you tried to play golf with that thing running, you would get kicked out for sure.

Thank you for the reply, It is really hard to find info about it and the price seemed good but I went in the shop looking for a gas cart and thought it was my answer. I have an electric now but want more range.
