Default Opinions on where to mount radio?

It's from custom speaker pods....ordering their pods, but saw this & wondered if it would be easier than mounting it in the ball holder?

YES it would.....in fact when I bought my cart, it already had the radio in the ball holder slot....but I didn't like it there....and I found Custom Speaker Pods as I was getting new speakers....and bought the under mount for the radio....I personally prefer it.....as I now have a cover plate I can mount switches in for accessories.

I put my stereo and speakers in an overhead console. If I had to do it over again, I'd probably go with what you posted. I like the sound and ease of access with an overhead console, but am unable to remove the roof, if I were to decide to go convertible with a sports windshield.

I vote for "On top of the roof". I figure you will get the most channels/best reception that way. Changing channels may be a hassle.
