Default EZGO Series TXT clicks but won't go

Hi all! I'm new to the forums and am seeking some help with my ca. 2005 (or 2004) EZGO TXT Series 36V cart. My cousin was using it a few days ago and it just stopped working when going up a hill. The cart would click but not move. After I got it towed back home and took a look at everything, one of the wires between the motor and the F/R had totally burned in two at the F/R, totally burning off the post it was on. I replace the copper (?) post from one with an old junk F/R that was laying around and expected everything to work fine.

Unfortunately, this is not the case. After replacing the connection on the burned off wire with a new one a few inches back on better wire, there is still just a solenoid click, no movement. Pack voltage is good. There is no difference voltage across the two largest solenoid posts when the the pedal is open or depressed. Testing across B+ and M- shows full voltage when pedal is off as well as when the pedal is down just enough for the solenoid to click and pedal at the floor.

I'm pretty much at a loss at the moment. Any help/guidance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Edit:

Went back with the multimeter to record the numbers i was getting to share with you guys in hope of some help here.

Full pack: 38.7
B- to M-:.264V when pedal not depressed, gradual decline to a few millivolts as the pedal is depressed.
B+ to B-: 38.7 (full pack), no change with pedal
B+ to M-: 38.2V at rest, up to full pack voltage as pedal is depressed
across solenoid: 0mv before click, no repeatable fluctuations upon pressing the pedal, a few millivolts noise is all.

Does this mean the issue lies in the controller?

Default Re: EZGO Series TXT clicks but won't go

Any suggestions, guys? I'd really like to figure this out and not have to pay to send it off to the shop again.

Thanks!
