Default Ezgo controller bad?

36 volt Easy go; ran one day next day just clicks. Checked solenoid, clicks and appears to be ok so i tested the m- and b- with my meter. Full voltage but when pedal is depressed i actually get a minuscule voltage increase not decrease. My question is what is my next step to continue troubleshooting. Doesnt have a tow switch just F/R. thanks!

For the B- to M- voltage check, measure the voltage when the pedal is pushed just far enough for the solenoid to click. The voltage you read before the solenoid click is coming through the pre-charge resistor across the solenoid's large terminals.

If the voltage doesn't decrease when pedal is pushed further down, either the throttle isn't telling the controller to pass amps or the controller is bad.

What year and body type cart? (EZGO changed throttle types over the years.)

The tag says model C201 serial # 1352029. The throttle is located around the go pedal? Thanks.

Just a black lever switch that goes from forward to reverse. Doesnt look as if it ever had anything else. Cart come from a harsh marine/salt air environment but had run fine until now.

Yep - series cart.
#1 reason why series cart click but, don't run is F&R switch contact failure.
Try tightening the 9/16 center pivot rod nut on the rear side of the F&R switch about 1/2 turn if it is not all the way down already. This should increase contact & make the cart harder to shift.

Tightened the nut up on the center but still only clicks. The wires in this area could stand a cleaning so I will do that tomorrow to see if that helps.
