You should have a 2001. Where is your forward/reverse switch? Do you have a toggle switch on the controller cover under the passenger seat?

Thanks gorno that is what i was thinking, but new to this and wanted to make sure. It is a series cart (f/r switch under seat) and no toggle switch. i just picked it up for $500 and it has a bed on the back. i was thinking of fixing it up for the boys(kids) cause mine is to fast. and boy is it fun to play with these things. I think i got the bug. Oh well needed a new hobby anyway.

Next we need to know which chassis you have. Is the steering box attached to the front axle (2001.5 and later), or is the steering box tucked up under the front cowl (2001.5 and older)?

well it is completly different from my o5 pds so i guess it is the older model. so did i mess up by purchasing this one or is it still modable?

Your still in great shape....... It's the old metal,square bodies that dont mod as easily.

The photo of mine on the left is a 1996........ more mods available than what I'll ever put on.

I call it my "Golf Truck" instead of a "golf car". The top rail of mu bed is almost chest high.
