Default I'm new and unsure of rules

Are we allowed to sell parts here? I have a ezgo pds controller that was on my old cart and I don't need it but want to find someone who does need it. I had it on Craigslist forever and not one call. Not sure where to sell parts

You can sell your old parts, you cannot sell parts like a business without becoming a sponsor. Which you are welcome to do also

This is what the rules say about selling here at BGW

BGW rules
Please note:
This does not pertain to the member who occasionally has parts they would like to sell or get rid of. For instance, if the majority of your posts are trying to sell something, well...your going to get banned permanently. No questions asked. If your a regular guy who did some upgrades and wants to get rid of your old parts that is completely acceptable. If you let the world know your a dealer and to pm you for parts just go ahead and log out.

So, if you are a newer member (not many posts) offering a part for sale, but not trying to "make a business" from selling parts, thats still totally fine. I understand the system, and the general intentions of the rule, but a "noob" might not get if its "ok" to try and sell extra stuff as a "youngster" here. The "line" is vague. Due to the "free advertising/selling" nature of some folks trying to make a business out of our generally "open" style here. I get it, and wouldnt be here if that "help out others" nature went away. I guess the decision is up to the "head honchos", who have been dilligent in weeding out the junk to decide. I will add that the spam and garbage here is the lowest of any forum i have ever seen (my own garbage/opinion has been let in, somehow). If your parts are desired (good chances), and dont try to sell in volume like a dealer, you will fit in here just fine as a member of our community.

Thanks fellas. Not a dealer here had 2 carts made alot of rookie decisions buying carts and its cost me pretty good. Selling a few items that I know are good and chunking others like f/r switch that had pitting in the pads and scorch marks around studs. Thanks for the replies much appreciated
