Battery choice
I will be getting some new batteries soon and will be converting my cart to 48V. Pretty sure I have decided on 8 6v. Seems like battery preference and manufacture quality varies over the years. What is the current recommended battery choice?

Re: Battery choice
These days, there tends to be more differences between different grades of batteries by the same manufacturer than there are differences between the same grade battery from different manufacturers, so the best bang for the buck is typically the highest AH batteries your budget allows at the lowest price you can find locally.
Attached is a list comparing various 48V battery packs. If the battery you are considering isn't on the list, find one that has the same AH rating and that is where it would be on the list if it had been included. |

Re: Battery choice
Local Interstate dealer gets blemished 8v batteries for $75 each. Guess Ill be going with 6 8V instead of the original plan of 8 6V. Savings of $350. They said they get them every 2 weeks or so.
