Default low price for a volt meter

Harbor Freight is having a sale on a volt meter. $1.99 each. I don't know about the quality of meter but you can't beat the price.

I try to stay away from HF, haven't had any luck with the stuff they sell. I guess I've gotten 4 or 5 items from them and was greatly disappointed. I didn't expect great quality but it is true, you get what you pay for and maybe others have had and will have better luck than I did !

I did go look online for the meter to see what it looked like and I found this.

Our electrical engineer has bought the Harbor Freight volt meters, at work. They are cheap but seem to work alright. The only problem we've had is the cable coming loose way up in the probes. Engineer is usually real picky but says the meters are good enough for what we use them for.
I have purchased two of them, one for home and one I keep in the cart. I take it hunting and the volt meter comes in handy for feeders, game cams and working on the tractor.
Course they could go belly up the next time I use them, But for $5 or less they're not bad.

Make my living using volt meters, and have to trust my life to it sometimes, I use a fluke, but have seen flukes that could not be trusted. & I have seen alot of really cheap meters that perform really well.
