2006 EZGO Batteries
I have a 2006 EZGO that needs batteries. I also have a Bad Boy that I was told requires the higher capacity 6V like the US 145. My question is would it benefit me to put the US-145 in my EZGO instead of the US-2200 or would it be a waste of money? Its a $20 each battery difference. Anyone with pros or cons for the subject would be appreciated.

Re: 2006 EZGO Batteries
Whatever you get, be sure your charger(s) have a charging profile suitable for US Battery batteries.
If the average SoC (State of Charge) throughout the battery pack's usable lifetime is 70%, the US-145 (251AH) batteries will live about 6 months longer then the US-2200 (232AH) batteries. The US-145 batteries will also give you about 10% more run-time (Range) than US-2200 batteries. |

Re: 2006 EZGO Batteries
So 6 months life and 10% distance is probably not worth the money. How do I find out my chargers program? My Ezgo has Pacer batteries in it now. My Bad Boy still has the 2010 stock US batteries in it so I'm assuming that charger is programmed right.

Boostin350, I'm not having issues with the Bad Boy batteries, actually I don't think I am bc I just got it and I'm not sure what the distance is with new batteries. It will go about 15mi on flat pavement

Quote:
The first attachment is a SoC chart for US Battery. The voltages on the chart are taken about 12 hours after the charger shuts off. The second attachment is the Technical Service bulletin identifying the undercharging issue. The third attachment is the recommended charge profiles for different types of charges. |

Thanks!! Some of that is a foreign language to me! Lol. If I take my Powerwise charger to a cart shop can they program it for US batteries?
