Re: txt goes than shuts down than it goes
check all of the battery cable connections and then if they are good i might suspect the ITS Throttle But for right now it just sounds like a loose connection ....Check at the solenoid? When the cart won't go ... does the solenoid still click?

Re: txt goes than shuts down than it goes
if you ride it around without the cover over controller than ride it and when it quits feel the controller to see how hot it is and than see how long before it will go again like 5 or 10 minutes..............just thinking about maybe the controller getting got and shutting down.............................

Re: txt goes than shuts down than it goes
Could be the ITS, the solenoid, the controller, a bad micro switch - it's hard to tell. Try all your electrical connections FIRST. At the controller, there is a 4 pin connector - we have seen these go bad over time, as well. Use a voltage tester that has a continuity "beep". Test each wire (takes 2 people) and 'wiggle' and 'pull' on the connector(s). Before you start buying parts that you may not need, you may want to consider taking it to a reputable cart shop for an estimate. We do this all the time for customers. Sometimes an hour labor charge might just save you from buying un-needed parts. I repeat - A REPUTABLE shop! Ask around to see who people recommend.

But weren't those old vehicles great, you could crawl into them beside the motor and have room to work. Now you can't get your hand in there.

That's true but......they didn't have airconditioning, cd players, power steering, brakes, & windows, heated leather seats (spriddle). gps, 300hp, air bags......I could go on ....it is progress. I aint saying they wern't grand. My first truck looked a lot like the one in the picture! And I loved it!
