Default EZGO Charger issues powerwise

Hello BGW. I have a powerwise 36 volt Charger with something going on with it. The transformer and the diodes are fine. I replaced the relay board and installed a new capacitor. Charger fires up and runs great. When the meter gets down around 12 amps it wants to shut off. The charger is putting out perfectly to that point. I can let it sit a couple mins. And it will run again for maybe 5 to 10 mins. What am I missing on this Charger. I tried it on 2 different carts also with the same outcome.

The ferroresonant transformer and capacitor are a matched pair.

Was the new capacitor the same µf as the original?
If not, the number of amps for the on-charge voltage will change.

The control board, which is essential an on/off switch, shuts off the charger when the on-charge voltage reaches about 45V and if the charger is putting out 12A when the on-charge voltage is nearing the cutoff voltage, there is a mismatch between the ferroresonant transformer and the capacitor, or the ammeter is wrong.

Bypass the relay so the charger turns on without being connected to the cart.

Measure the AC voltage between the two wires going from the transformer to the diodes.

With the capacitor disconnected, you should get about 60VAC and with it connected you should get about 90VAC.

If you don't get from 55VAC to 65VAC without the capacitor, the transformer is bad.

IF you do get about 60VAC without the capacitor, but do not get between 83VAC and 97VAC, the capacitor is bad (IE: Wrong µf value)

BTW, in my testing, a 4mf where a 3mf belongs will give a high amp & volt output (the control board will still shut it down at a preset max voltage).

So I don't understand why the charger is turning off. This is the second board in it. I thought maybe the relay was bad so I put in a second board.diodes are good also
