Turn Signals and Brake Lights
I'm anticipating a problem with installing brake lights and turn signals on my 2008 RXV. I have ordered the parts but not received yet. Problem is both are plug and play but I only have one plug. The only thing I can think of is to splice into the wires on the plug and solder it in. Anyone have any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also if I do this will both work if operating at the same time with this "method"? That is suppose I have the turn signals on and hit the brake. Is that going to blow a fuse or something? Thanks, you probable can guess I'm new at this. lol

Re: Turn Signals and Brake Lights
What light kit do you have?
Basic kit cannot be easily converted to brake lights and turn signals. Delux can with upgrade kit. Turn signals and brake light kit is combined and includes horn. In the kits we use so one plug in light harness is not a problem. |

Re: Turn Signals and Brake Lights
I don't have the kits yet. Just ordered yesterday.Looks like I should have asked the question first. I'm not sure but think my light kit was factory installed. I bought the cart used from a dealer. When I get the parts in I will report back. Can you give me anymore info on the upgrade kit you mentioned? Thanks for the reply.

Can you call and put your older on hold to make sure it's what you need?

Re: Turn Signals and Brake Lights
Both kits are already marked as shipped. Maybe I will just return them depending on more research and advice.

Re: Turn Signals and Brake Lights
HiTech where can I get the harness you mentioned. Maybe a new harness is the answer. Is this a complete harness or just one for the brake and turn signals. I really don't want to rewire the entire cart.
