battery terminal protectant question
hi guys!
i have a question...i use carquest battery terminal protectant(red stuff) and my question is; if i accidently got some protectant in my f/r switch(scotty b`s hd unit) will that damage or cause resistance problems with the switch? thanks for your help! |

Unless some got on the cam's high current contacts or stationary high current contacts, it shouldn't adversely effect the cart's performance.
If some got on the outer circumference of the cam or on the microswitch levers, it might cause some issues with getting the solenoid to click, or the reverse beeper sounding, or half-speed reverse. Other than that, it's cosmetic. |
